WATCH: Gennaro Gattuso loses it after AC Milan conceded late
December 04, 2017
Gennaro Gattuso’s first game back in charge of AC Milan ended in disaster as they conceded a 95th-minute equaliser from Benevento’s goalkeeper Alberto Brignoli.
The opposing shot stopper came marching forward for an injury-time set-piece and incredibly headed home to secure his club’s first point of the season in Serie A.
The newly-appointed Italian coach was understandably furious with his team’s defending of the decisive free-kick late on as they were held 2-2 on their travels.

To make things worse for the Rossoneri, before the domestic clash their opponents Benevento had lost their opening 14 straight games in Serie A.
Such a result sees AC Milan sit well off the pace in the race for European places this season.
In typical Gattuso fashion, the manager hit out at his players afterwards.
“Maybe it would’ve been better to get stabbed than concede this goal,” he said.
“I never expected to suffer like that, taking a goal from the goalkeeper in the 95th minute.”
The draw will not fill Milan fans with much hope, as Gattuso aims to turn form and fortunes around at the San Siro. But will he succeed?
