Grand National Runners and Riders

The final field of 40 runners is known for Saturday’s Grand National, led by Corach Rambler, who is currently favourite for the race. Elsewhere, there’s plenty of other popular names, such as the 2022 winner Noble Yeats, and the dual Cheltenham Cross Country Chase winner Delta Work.

Popular jockey Rachel Blackmore is a name that many people look out for in this race, and if you want to follow Rachel then she will ride Ain’t That A Shame for trainer Henry de Bromhead.

Something else that many people look out for is a grey horse, and this year there are four of them to choose from.

Gaillard Du Mesnil, Vanillier, Coko Beach and Eva’s Oskar are the names to look out for if you want a grey runner on your side.

When is the Grand National Taking Place?

The Grand National will take place on Saturday 15th April, and as ever, will be run at Aintree Racecourse, Liverpool, the home of this famous race.

What Time Does the Grand National Start?

As we have seen for the past few years, the Grand National will take place early in the evening, to try and give as many people as possible the chance to watch the race.

The start time will be 5:15pm.

How to Watch the Grand National?

ITV will have live coverage throughout the day from Aintree, and of course that includes showing the big race live on their main channel.

Elsewhere, if you are looking for a stream then many online bookmakers offer you the chance to watch races live via their website, so you can watch with your bookmaker if you are not able to watch the race on TV.
