Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest round out Saturday’s Premier League action in a 5:30 kick-off.
Palace head into the game in 9th place with three wins and two draws from seven outings, whilst Nottingham Forest sit 12th on eight points. The Eagles are 6/5 to beat Nottingham Forest with bet365.
Record-breaking Roy
Saturday’s game will be a historic one as Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson will take charge of his 400th Premier League game. Hodgson is the eighth manager to reach this milestone and of the previous seven bosses to hit 400 PL games, only Sam Allardyce lost his 400th match.
In further good news for Palace, Nottingham Forest have won just one of their last 14 Premier League away games (D3 L10). Their last away win did come against Chelsea in September, but it is worth noting that Forest have not won consecutive top-flight visits to London since January/March 1997 (against West Ham and Tottenham).
Crystal Palace will, however, be forced to face Forest without star man, Eberechi Eze. Eze was substituted just before the full-time whistle as Palace beat United 1-0 at Old Trafford on Saturday and is now facing six weeks out after sustaining a hamstring injury in said match.
With Eze out, Odsonne Edouard will have to shoulder much of the attacking burden in the coming months. The striker had a small issue that kept him out of both the recent Manchester United games, but he is expected back in action at the weekend.
Edouard has scored five goals in all competitions for the London-based outfit this term and is 9/4 to score anytime on Saturday with Betfair.
