Jarrod Bowen injury update

Ahead of Sunday’s match, an update on the recently injured Jarrod Bowen has been provided.

Bowen suffered an ankle injury in the dying moments of the FA Cup 3rd round draw with Bristol City earlier this month and missed out on the replay on Tuesday.

Bowen suffered heavy swelling and there were initial fears he could face up to a month on the sidelines.

Those concerns were eased last week when further assessment found the issue to be not as serious as first suggested, but Bowen’s recovery has surpassed even more optimistic expectations and could return in time for the trip to Bramall Lane.

This would be a major boost for the Hammers, who are currently without Lucas Paqueta and Mohamed Kudus due to injury and international duty.
