Jose Mourinho has lashed out at the constant questions over why Alexis Sanchez has not been featuring in the Manchester United side.
The Chilean didn’t start against Young Boys in their Champions League home game on Tuesday night. United won 1-0 book their place in the last 16.
But rather than focussing on the result, Mourinho feels the media were thinking too much about Sanchez, and decided to look at the negative instead of focussing on Marcus Rashford starting up front.
“No he is not injured, but it is quite curious because you always speak about the ones who are not playing.
“You put me in difficult situations, with difficult questions, but you could be nice to me and say; ‘tonight, Jose, you play Rashford as a nine and I could go from there. But no, you say I left big names outside.
“Yes I did, but I play other guys and for me the good thing is those who played gave everything and I’m happy with their attitude.”
