West Ham team news vs Freiburg
West Ham are set to welcome back a key man to the fray this week as Edson Alvarez has served his suspension which kept him out of the win over win over Backa Topola.
On a less positive note, Jarrod Bowen was seen limping and in clear discomfort when substituted late on at the London Stadium against Sheffield United over the weekend.
The winger’s injury is not reported to be serious, but he does look set to miss out on Thursday. A source inside West Ham confirmed to Claret and Hugh that Bowen picked up a slight knock in the game: “Bowen was carrying a slight limp as he was subbed in extra time yesterday but our sources claim there in no problem with the player.
“He is unlikely to be involved in the Europa League match anyway as David Moyes again rings the changes within the squad. We were told earlier that the player had suffered no more than a knock during the game against Sheffield United and that there was very little problem that a couple of days rest wouldn’t put right.”
With Bowen expected to miss out, Mohammed Kudus will likely step in to replace him vs Freiburg.
