Manchester United injury update

Here is the latest Manchester United injury news before their meeting with Liverpool.

Rasmus Hojlund suffered a muscle injury in February and missed the losses to Fulham and Manchester City as well as the win over Everton. But Erik ten Hag has confirmed the Danish international could return for the trip to Liverpool.

Harry Maguire was ruled out of United’s last three games across all competitions. But like Hojlund, Ten Hag has suggested the England international could return to face the Reds later this week.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is also in contention for Sunday’s game, as once again confirmed by the Manchester United boss:

“Hopefully, some return,” he said. “Aaron Wan-Bissaka was, yesterday, on the pitch. We expect also Harry Maguire back in the squad next week. Rasmus Hojlund has good hope he will make it as well.”
