The German champions made the dramatic move to replace Nagelesmann with Thomas Tuchel despite a perfect record in this year’s Champions League amid rumours he endured a difficult relationship with the board.
It came as rumours surfaced that Tuchel was interested in replacing Antonio Conte at Tottenham after the Italian scorched his relationship with the club following a 3-3 draw with Southampton, and Bayern acted quickly to secure the German’s services.
