Jurgen Klopp storms out of interview

After the United loss, Liverpool’s hopes of being the first side in Premier League history to win the quadruple have now ended.

As a result, Jurgen Klopp was left furious by the game and his anger grew when asked after the game about his side’s intensity in extra time.

The German was speaking to Nordic channel V Sport when the interviewer asked: “Normally, intensity is the name of your game, so how come it became so difficult in extra time?”

Klopp paused for a couple of seconds before responding: “That’s a bit of a dumb question, I have to say, if you see us often. If you never see us then you can ask ‘how can they have more resources?’.

“We played I don’t know how many games recently, I don’t know how many games United exactly have played. That’s sport. I’m really disappointed by that question, but you thought the opposite so that’s good.”

The interviewer then began to ask another question, opening with “so, too many games” before Klopp interrupted him by saying: “Oh, you don’t think that? Ah, come on, you’re obviously not in good shape and I have no nerves for you”. Klopp then brushed past the interviewer and walked off.
