Liverpool Fans React to the New FIFA 18 Player Ratings for Pogba and Morata

Although their respective seasons have not gone particularly well at Manchester United and Chelsea, both Paul Pogba and Alvaro Morata have received rating upgrades on FIFA 18 for the second half of the season.

The EA Sports game does this every year, alongside updating the squads for all the teams after the January transfer window. Alexis Sanchez is now at United, while Olivier Giroud plays for Chelsea, for example.

But the respective struggles in form for both Pogba and Morata mean their increases have been met by criticism. Morata, who joined Chelsea for £70million from Real Madrid last summer, has struggled with injuries and inconsistency in front of goal. Pogba, meanwhile, is having trouble getting on with his manager, Jose Mourinho.

Liverpool fans are among those most frustrated, because their star man Mo Salah, who has netted over 30 goals this season including in the 4-1 win over West Ham on Saturday, has only been increased by two to 85.
