Manchester City team news

Here is the latest Manchester City injury news before their clash with Arsenal.

Concerns were raised on Saturday when Erling Haaland came off against Newcastle with a potential shoulder complaint.

Pep Guardiola, however, played down these concerns in his post-match press conference and suggested Haaland would head away with the Norwegian national team for their friendlies this month.

Kevin De Bruyne will play no part in his country’s friendlies this month due to a groin injury. Guardiola, however, confirmed the midfielder would be back in action soon.

Finally, Ederson was injured during the draw with Liverpool earlier this month and is not expected back until after the international break:

“Eddie (Ederson) is getting better, hopefully he’ll be ready after the international break,” Pep said pre-Newcastle.
