Erling Haaland speaks out on injury fears

Haaland was spotted limping in training with the national team earlier this week, prompting suggestions he may be a doubt to face Arsenal.

Norway’s team doctor Ola Sand stated soon after that news broke that there was ‘no problem’ with Haaland. And now, the player himself has delivered his own update, putting those injury rumours to bed:

“I’m feeling fine,” he told TV2. “I didn’t walk off the training. I don’t know who wrote that. I trained a full training session. I feel good and am ready to play the match [on Friday].”

Haaland also revealed that Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola jokingly warned his players about picking up injuries during the international break.

The Norweigan said: “[Guardiola said] ‘if one of you comes back not fresh, I will come after you,’ and smiled.”
