Manchester United handed double injury boost before Nottingham Forest

Manchester United will be desperate to bounce back from their shock 2-1 loss to Fulham this past weekend when they face Nottingham Forest in the 5th round of the FA Cup on Wednesday evening.

Despite United’s recent dip in form and them being away from home for this clash, they are still 6/5 favourites to beat Nottingham Forest with bet365.

Manchester United given injury boost ahead of FA Cup tie

Ahead of facing Nottingham Forest, Manchester United have been handed a boost on the injury front.

This comes as Casemiro and Victor Lindelof are both fit for Manchester United’s upcoming FA Cup tie following recent injury scares, as per Ten Hag.

Lindelof limped off just before full-time in the defeat to Fulham on Saturday, while Casemiro was forced off in the 52nd minute with a head injury.

On Casemiro’s injury, Ten Hag confirmed pre-Nottingham Forest that the Brazilian was not concussed and is available to play:

“It was a bleeding, so he had to come off,” he said. “It was definitely not in our advantage that he couldn’t continue the game but he is available for tomorrow.”
