Manchester United injury boost
Ahead of facing off with Sean Dyche’s Everton, Luke Shaw has returned to training in a major boost for Manchester United.
The left-back sustained the problem in August, making only two appearances this season, but is back in full training ahead of Sunday.
United’s injury situation is still not great ahead of the trip to Goodison Park, though. Danish duo Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund were added to a lengthy injury list before the international break, with goalkeeper Andre Onana picking up a problem while away with Cameroon.
Onana could still be fit in time to take on the Toffees but Manchester United will be without Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez for Sunday’s meeting.
Jadon Sancho remains banned from the first-team set-up as well, further limiting the attacking threat at Erik ten Hag’s disposal.
