Manchester United's Jose Mourinho Seeks Reunion with £90 Million Chelsea Star

The January transfer window is swiftly approaching and Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly readying a British record bid for Chelsea star Eden Hazard.

Red Devils manager Mourinho is believed to be keen on a reunion with his former Blues playmaker and is willing to pay a mammoth £90 million for his services.

Hazard is being heavily tracked by European giants Real Madrid and PSG after his sizzling form this season in the Premier League, but Mourinho thinks he can beat them to the high-profile signing.

The Belgium international forward has been enjoying a sublime campaign at Stamford Bridge, shining bright with an abundance of goals and assists for the Blues.

Hazard has already rejected a proposed £300k-a-week four-year deal to remain in London with Antonio Conte’s current top-flight champions, as he continues to keep his options open.

Mourinho will have a fight on his hands to lure the Belgian to Old Trafford, though, with Zinedine Zidane having made Hazard his top transfer target at the Bernabeu.

Reports in Spain even claim that the 26-year-old could join up with Real and become their latest Galactico following the 2018 World Cup in Russia next summer.

But Mourinho is still pursuing the in-form wideman, who helped him win the Premier League title at Chelsea during the 2014/15 season.

United already hold the British record fee for securing the return of Paul Pogba for £89 million but Hazard’s potential arrival could shatter even that massive fee.
