Mykhailo Mudryk finally put an end to his Chelsea goal drought on Monday following his £88.5m move from Shakhtar Donetsk earlier this year.
The Ukraine international scored the opener in Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Fulham and has become the first Ukrainian scorer for the Blues since Andriy Shevchenko vs Bolton in May 2008.
After an impressive 45 minutes vs Fulham, in which Mudryk looked back to his best, the winger was forced off at half-time and replaced by Ian Maatsen.

Chelsea losing Mudryk to injury would be a major blow for them as he is finally starting to come good and would no doubt cause a lot of issues for Burnley’s backline on Saturday.
Luckily for Chelsea, though, the injury Mudryk picked up on Monday does not appear to be too serious.
Speaking to the media post-Fulham, Mauricio Pochettino quelled any fears that the 22-year-old was set for an extended period out and expressed hope that Mudryk will be ready to face Burnley later this week
“He was doing well,” Pochettino told Sky Sports. “[It is] unlucky that at half time he felt something in his quad but we hope that it is not a big issue and he will be ready for Saturday.”
