We head to the NBA tonight to take in Friday’s action on the courts and we have picked out three selections to concentrate on, which pays 10/1!
- Denver Nuggets -10.5 (@Pelicans)
- Miami Heat -6.5 (V Clippers)
- Chicago Bulls -3.5 (@ Spurs)
Friday’s 10/1 NBA Acca
Denver Nuggets -10.5 (@ Pelicans)
The Denver Nuggets come into this game on the back of a three game winning streak, and they have won six of their last eight games. During that spell, they’ve beaten the lower ranked teams with ease, and also stood up well to beat some of the better teams in the NBA.
Two wins over the Pistons this week have kept things rolling in Denver, and we like them to win again on Friday, with a big margin.
In five of their last eight, the Nuggets have scored 120 or more, with other scores of 117 and 118 impressive too. This is an offensive group that the Pelicans will simply not be able to keep up with.
We like Denver here, and think they’ll outscore the Pelicans by a lot to cover the handicap line.
Miami Heat -6.5 (v Clippers)
Through some good play of their own, combined with struggles for other teams, the Miami Heat find themselves at the top of the Eastern Conference, and go up against a Clippers team who are really struggling to get it together at the moment.
The Clippers have won their last two, but those have come against the Wizards and Magic, two low ranked teams, and the story is different when they take on one of the higher ranked teams in the league.
As for the Heat, they’ve won four of their last five and kept the opposition to less than 100 points in three of those, which is a very solid run.
Going up against the Clippers, with home advantage and holding onto the Eastern top spot, we like the Heat to win this one and cover the -6.5 handicap line.
Chicago Bulls -3.5 (@ Spurs)
The Chicago Bulls are one of the teams that have had struggles in the East, which has given the Heat the lead, but we like them to win this game on Friday night.
The Bulls are 4-6 in their last 10, but have won their last two, including a good win over the Toronto Raptors.
As for the Spurs, they have a 3-7 record from their last 10 games, and have suffered big defeats against the Grizzlies, 76ers, Nets and Suns in the past 10 days.
We think the Chicago Bulls can add their name to that list, win the game and cover the -3.5 handicap line to round off our acca on Friday night.
