We head to the NBA tonight and put together four picks to form our acca. We like the under on three games, and combine those with one handicap pick, a team we expect to dominate.
All of that combines together, with an acca that pays 10/1!
- Celtics @ Hornets – Under 226.5
- Hawks @ Bucks – Under 236.5
- Lakers @ Rockets – Under 232.5
- Nuggets -4.5 @ Kings
Wednesday’s 10/1 NBA Acca
Celtics @ Hornets – Under 226.5
The first under pick comes in Charlotte, where the Celtics visit. The Hornets played on Tuesday night, and while they are a young team, they will face a little fatigue because of that. They have to take on one of the best defensive teams in the league here, who will try and shut down the home side.
Fatigue can help the Celtics win this, but we expect the scoring to be a little lower than expected here, as they shutdown their opponents, and edge the game.
Hawks @ Bucks – Under 236.5
This is another game where one team comes in on the second night of a back to back. The Bucks had a big win last night, and have one simply aim on Wednesday, which is to leave Atlanta with the win. It may not be pretty, it may not be a game where the Bucks play at their best, but they are likely to win.
Not being at their best, and likely playing at a slightly slower pace, all points towards a fairly close game, where scoring is a little lower than what we would normally expect from these two.
Lakers @ Rockets – Under 232.5
The Lakers and Rockets both come here on the back of some poor play, and both are banged up too, either with players missing, or players coming back from injury. Anthony Davis is out, LeBron may not play, and for the Rockets, even if Christian Wood does play, it will be his first game back.
The under has hit in five of the last seven games that both of these two have played, we like it again here given the match circumstances.
Nuggets -4 @ Kings
These two have met three times this season, the Nuggets have won all three and they have covered the spread in two of those games. This one is another great opportunity, and on top of that, Denver are playing their best basketball of the season right now, really pushing forward when it matters.
The Nuggets have what it takes to beat the Kings, and given just how well they are playing right now, we fancy them to not only win, but also to cover the -4 spread.
