We head to the NBA tonight to take in Wednesday’s action on the courts and we have picked out a four team acca to concentrate on, which pays 11/1!
- Brooklyn Nets money line (@ Wizards)
- Philadelphia 76ers -11.5 (v Magic)
- Cleveland Cavaliers -3.5 (@ Bulls)
- LA Lakers money line (v Pacers)
Wednesday’s 11/1 NBA Acca
Brooklyn Nets money line (@ Wizards)
Better, but still some way off their very best, would be the best way to describe the Brooklyn Nets right now. Favourites in the Eastern Conference, they are short of showing that, but certainly capable of winning this game.
Given the troubles the Nets are having right now, we are backing them on the money line, rather than the handicap, but when they’ve clicked, they have done so well recently.
Big wins over the Chicago Bulls and New Orleans Pelicans in their last four look much better, and their recent loss to the Cavs is nothing to be concerned about, as they are playing very well.
The Wizards are down in 8th, and even though not at their best, we still the like Nets to beat them.
Philadelphia 76ers -11.5 (v Magic)
It is always a risk backing a team to cover such a big handicap margin, as they will inevitably slow down and rest key players when the game is wrapped up.
However, the Magic are bad, and even by resting some starts, the 76ers can still pile misery on them here. The 76ers are 8-2 in their last 10, while the Magic are 1-9. They’ve lost by 10, 16 and 7 in their last three games, and the 76ers are better than every team that has done that.
This should be an easy night for Philadelphia, we fancy them to rack up a big double digit win here.
Cleveland Cavaliers -3.5 (@ Bulls)
Are we seeing the start of the end of the Chicago Bulls as a force in the Eastern Conference? They were expected to drop off the pace, and after losing their last four games, we could be seeing exactly that now.
The Cavaliers are playing really well themselves too, they are 7-3 from their last 10, and they’ve won their last five games ahead of this one. Of those five wins, the last four have been with a margin of five or bigger, and this looks to be a great time to play the Bulls as they slip from top spot.
We like the Cavs to pile more onto the Bulls and take this, also covering the handicap line.
LA Lakers money line (v Pacers)
The LA Lakers are 6-4 in their last 10, picking up wins, but clearly struggling when they come up against the better teams in the league. It seems we have found their ceiling, and know what to expect from them know, though of course, with how LeBron James is playing, you can never discount them.
Having said that, the game on Wednesday gives them a great opportunity to pick up another win when they take on the Indian Pacers.
The Pacers are 1-9 from their last 10, and they’ve lost their last four games. This is an ideal opportunity for the Lakers to win, we are backing them to do so on the money line.
