We’ve listed two tips below for the action at Newmarket on Friday afternoon.
1:50pm Newmarket - Flora Of Bermuda
Flora of Bermuda has enjoyed a solid summer, including being first home on the far side in the Queen Mary when placing 6th and then winning the Alice Keppel at Glorious Goodwood in the rain.
She disappointed in the Lowther Stakes at York on lightning-quick ground but bounced back to form when chasing home Big Evs in the Flying Childers at Doncaster.
That’s a solid piece of form, and with conditions set to suit on Friday, she can go close under Oisin Murphy.
3:35pm Newmarket - Davideo
Both of Davideo’s career wins have come at Newmarket - once on this course and once on the July Course.
His July course success came here during the summer when he won over this trip in impressive style under Rob Hornby, and the 2nd and 3rd that day have both won since, nicely boosting the form of that victory.
He’s since disappointed on quicker ground at York and Haydock, but a return to Newmarket with some give in the ground could see him return to some sort of form, and he looks like a solid each-way bet with most bookmakers paying four places.
