The NHL continues and on Thursday night, there are many great games for fans to enjoy. If you are looking for some overnight action, we have put together four of those games and combined them to create a 9/1 acca!
Boston Bruins -1.5 (v Chicago)
The Boston Bruins have won seven of their last 10 games, and are in a real battle for the playoffs in the Atlantic Division right now. The Blackhawks are out of contention out west, have won just four of their last 10, and away from home, they have won just 10 of 28 total games.
Chicago come here on the back of a big win over Arizona, but this is a completely different test, and Boston should prove to be far too strong for them.
The Bruins -1.5 kick off our acca.
Florida Panthers -1.5 (v Philadelphia)
The Florida Panthers are trying to chase down the Colorado Avalanche at the top of the NHL, and are in good form right now. They’ve won seven of their last 10, but recently in particular, their form has been better, winning their last four games.
As for the Flyers, they’ve won just three of their last 10, and sit bottom of the Metropolitan Division. With many trade rumours surrounding the team, there is a lot of uncertainty about the future, which is not going to help them get any better.
We like Florida -1.5 here, to win this game with ease.
Nashville Predators to beat Anaheim – Money Line
We are siding with the Predators on the money line, which includes overtime and penalties, if they take place. The Preds are right in the playoff hunt in the Central Division, despite a bad run recently. However, they appear to be over that, having won their last two, and this game against the Ducks gives them a great opportunity to make it three wins in a row.
Anaheim may have started the season well, but they are now falling to a place we expected them to be. They’ve won 11 and lost 17 on the road, a record that is much worse than their home record.
We are going with Nashville on the money line here.
LA Kings -1.5 (v San Jose)
We round off the acca over on the west coast in LA. The Kings are surprisingly second in the Pacific Division right now, but they’ve deserved that, based on overall season play, and especially what they have done recently.
The Kings come here with eight wins from their last 10 games, and a three game winning streak. As for San Jose, slight promise earlier in the season has completely gone, this is a team now coasting towards the end of the season.
The Sharks have won just two of their last 10, a run that has seen them fall completely out of contention in the division.
To finish up the acca, we like the Kings to continue their strong recent run.
