Paddy Brennan's Cheltenham Festival Tips

Check out Paddy's tips for Day 4 of the Cheltenham Festival, including his 8/1 Nap selection that runs in the Albert Bartlett.

1:20pm Cheltenham - Lulamba

The Triumph Hurdle kicks off the festival's final day, and this looks like a three-horse race.

I love LULAMBA - I absolutely love this horse - he'll love the ground and the track, and I think he'll win.

It's been a disappointing week for Nicky Henderson with Constitution Hill and Jonbon, but he can land the opening race on Friday.

Recommendation: Lulamba - 5/2 with bet365

2:00pm Cheltenham - Valgrand (Each-Way)

There are only 16 runners in this year's County Hurdle, which I cannot believe.

In my riding days, you regularly saw 24 runners, and it was a race you dreaded as it could be absolute carnage.

The horse I like is VALGRAND (Each-Way) for Dan Skelton - I've ridden Valgrand myself at home, and I was really impressed with him.

I don't think he's thrown in, but he has an excellent each-way chance, and the stable knows how to land this race.

Recommendation: Valgrand (Each-Way) - 8/1 with Coral (5 places)

2:40pm Cheltenham - Royal Margaux (Each-Way)

Dinoblue would be very hard to beat, but a horse that could run a massive race at 50/1 is ROYALE MARGAUX (Each-Way) for Tom Symonds.

She won over fences in France and landed a Listed Hurdle last time out - she looks overpriced and could grab a place behind Dinoblue.

Recommendation: Royal Margaux (Each-Way) - 50/1 with Coral (3 places)

3:20pm Cheltenham - Wendigo (Each-Way) (Nap)

WENDIGO (Each-Way) (Nap) is a horse I love for Jamie Snowden with Gavin Sheehan on board.

He does everything right and could be a Stayers' Hurdle horse one day.

I felt The New Lion looked like a future Champion Hurdle contender before yesterday, and I get the same vibe from Wendigo over the longer trip.

The Big Westerner is an obvious danger receiving the mares' allowance, but both her wins have come on soft, and she would be much better on slower ground.

Recommendation: Wendigo (Each-Way) (Nap) - 8/1 with Betfred (4 places)

4:00pm Cheltenham - Banbridge

What a race the Cheltenham Gold Cup will be - we could be in the presence of history here with Galopin Des Champs.

He will be extremely hard to beat, but BANBRIDGE has an excellent chance - he reminds me of Sizing John, and I cannot wait to watch him.

They open up a new piece of track tomorrow for this race on Friday - they leave a bit on the new track, about 5 to 6 feet wide on the inside.

That is the quickest ground they'll experience at Cheltenham this week, and Banbridge will love it.

Will he get by Galopin Des Champs? It won't be easy, but I give him a massive chance.

There will be plenty of pace in the race with the likes of The Real Whacker, and it's been a week of mental results - Banbridge could serve it up here.

Recommendation: Banbridge - 9/2 with BetVictor

4:40pm Cheltenham - Shearer (Each-Way)

I love the Hunters' Chase, although I would prefer this race to be just for amateur trainers.

I think it isn't easy when you get top trainers like Paul Nicholls having a runner in the race, and I like his horse here - SHEARER (Each-Way).

He was very impressive at Ffos Las, and then they had to run him just 12 days later at Taunton to qualify for this race.

Coming in here after a three-week break means he'll be spot on and he's got a massive chance.

Recommendation: Shearer (Each-Way) - 11/1 with bet365 (4 places)

5:20pm Cheltenham - Kopeck De Mee & No Questions Asked (Each-Way)

I know as much about KOPECK DE MEE as the next person, but the chat since the weights were announced has been about this horse, and it was just a matter of what race he went for.

And it's not a negative that he's lining up in this one - remember, Galopin Des Champs won this race.

He's got an excellent chance, but I also like the look of NO QUESTIONS ASKED (Each-Way) for Ben Pauling.

He's got a decent engine, will travel well, and will like the ground - he can get in the mix at a nice price.

Recommendations: Kopeck De Mee - 5/2 with bet365 & No Questions Asked (Each-Way) - 25/1 with Coral (5 places)
