Jack Grealish injury update

Ahead of facing Luton on Tuesday, Pep Guardiola has provided an injury update on Jack Grealish.

Grealish suffered an injury at Copenhagen in the Champions League earlier this month and Man City initially feared he could be out for up to a month.

However, the winger has recovered more quickly than expected and should play some role in the cup clash, as confirmed by Pep.

The City boss also provided an update on Josko Gvardiol, who is touch and go for Luton after his injury issue: “Josko is good too,” Pep said.

“We train this afternoon but he is training without much pain. He still hasn’t trained with us but he’s on the verge of coming back. We train this afternoon but I think everyone [else] is fine.”
