Players celebrate £20,000 win as this weekend offers another shot at the £1,000,000 prizepot in bet365’s free-to-play 6 Scores Challenge!

Steve Freeth and Sam Matterface are back to help out with their preview of this weekend’s 6 Scores Challenge selections. Six more games, three from the Premier League and three from the Championship, stand between our players and a share of £1 million in the free-to-play game.

Players almost reached the pinnacle of the 6 Scores Challenge last weekend, as five predictors managed to guess five correct scores to leave them just one short of the ultimate top prize.

The fortunate five would have still been in celebrating mood thanks to our £20,000 consolation prizepot being shared out amongst those who fell just one short from the perfect six correct guesses.

Even more consolation joy as plenty of our players managed to secure themselves a split of £10,000 for four correct guesses, with a share of £5,000 entering accounts to a healthy number who got three correct scorelines.

It was the Championship that served up the top two most successful outcomes last weekend for the 6 Scores Challenge players. Ipswich’s narrow win against Sunderland had over 70,000 players happy with the 2-1 result, whereas Watford’s 2-1 win at QPR saw over 50,000 players getting that one right.

6 Scores Challenge

Less success was had in the Premier League game at Goodison Park, where Everton hosted Aston Villa. The 0-0 draw had less than 3,000 players predicting correctly, seemingly expecting goals with an Aston Villa side who hadn’t been involved in a goalless game all season before then.

Players were so close last week that there’ll be belief to bounce back and go again to win their share of the £1,000,000 jackpot prize available in the 6 Scores Challenge.

The action begins at 15:00 with two Championship fixtures; Watford travel to Ashton Gate to face Bristol City, whilst Norwich host fifth-place West Brom.

Saturday evening’s 17:30 kick off will see Brentford hope to end a run of five straight losses as Nottingham Forest head to the Gtech Community Stadium.

Sunday’s three games start with the 12:00 midday fixture at Elland Road, as Leeds look to stay unbeaten at home as they welcome Preston.

Sheffield United v West Ham kicks off at 14:00, with The Blades looking for a much needed win as David Moyes’ side potential get caught out licking their wounds after being dumped out the FA Cup by Bristol City.

The final fixture will see Bournemouth host Liverpool for the 16:30 kick off game. Before their recent loss to Spurs, Bournemouth had collected 19 points out of a possible 21 points in the Premier League. However, Liverpool are top for a reason, and have only lost once in the league alongside flexing the joint-best goal difference.

The free-to-play game gives customers the chance to win cash prizes by predicting the scores of six football matches, every week. The premise is very simple… yet the reward could be huge!

Norwich v West Brom | Saturday 15:00 | Make your prediction here

Steve Freeth: 1-1 I was at the reverse fixture of this one on Boxing Day, where West Brom managed to get a second half goal to beat the ten men of Norwich. I don’t foresee another win though, and a 1-1 draw is my pick for this one.

Bristol City v Watford | Saturday 15:00 | Make your prediction here

Sam Matterface: 1-2

Watford didn’t let me down last week, and their home record is very similar to their away record this season. They’ve gone four games unbeaten, and I’m backing them to make it five. I’m going with a win for Watford, 2-1.

Brentford v Nottm Forest | Saturday 17:30 | Make your prediction here

Steve Freeth: 1-1

Three of the last four games in this fixture have been draws, and the anomaly in that was an injury-time winner from Josh Dasilva to make it 2-1 to Brentford. The signs point to another draw, and it’ll be a 1-1 from me.

Leeds v Preston | Sunday 12:00 | Make your prediction here

Sam Matterface: 3-0

I can’t ignore the form of Leeds whenever they play at Elland Road. Revenge certainly feels like it’s in the air from what happened earlier in the season, and Leeds are yet to lose in front of their home crowd. Preston have lost their last three on the road; 3-0 win for Leeds.

Sheffield Utd v West Ham | Sunday 14:00 | Make your prediction here

Steve Freeth: 1-1

Sheffield United need to get moving from the bottom of the league to make Premier League survival look like a reality. The Blades have some big six-pointers coming up, and I think they’ll get something from this. You’ll never guess, but I’m going with another 1-1 draw.

Bournemouth v Liverpool | Sunday 16:30 | Make your prediction here

Sam Matterface: 2-2

Liverpool are top of the pile at the minute, and it will take something special to beat them. However, Dominic Solanke’s form is indeed special, and manager Andoni Iraola enjoys giving the big teams a bloody nose, so I think this will be close. So close, I’m going with a 2-2 draw.
