Mauricio Pochettino’s name continues to be heavily linked with Manchester United. And with good reason, too, it seems.
The Argentinian almost seems destined to end up at Old Trafford one day, with current boss Ralf Rangnick only in temporary charge.
United dismissed Old Gunnar Solskjaer back in November amidst a dreadful run of one win in seven matches, with Rangnick taking control of the side until the end of the season.
Once a new full-time boss is found, Rangnick will move into a consultancy role at Old Trafford alongside director John Murtough and Richard Arnold, who is set to replace Ed Woodward as executive vice-chairman when he departs next month.
PSG’s Pochettino and Ajax’s Erik ten Hag remain the frontrunners to take the Old Trafford reins, while Leicester’s Brendan Rodgers is also still under consideration after being sounded out towards the end of Solskjaer’s tenure.

Pochettino is highly regarded by the United board for his work at Tottenham Hotspur and he thought to be keen on a Premier League return at some point.
He is reportedly still keen on joining the Red Devils and was even prepared to make the move mid-season before Rangnick took temporary charge.
The end of the season could be the perfect time for Pochetttino to take the reins at United and you can get 6/4 with Paddy Power on him being in position there by the start of next season.
Betfair are offering 13/2 on Ten Haag and just 11/2 on Rodgers being the man in the hot-seat by the summer.
