Chelsea went head-to-head with Burnley in a Premier League match on Saturday afternoon. Chelsea came out on top on the day after scoring four goals.
After a poor start to the season in front of goal, the Blues have now netted six in their last two Premier League outings.
Chelsea’s next game comes at home to Arsenal on October 21. Back the west Londoners to score over 1.5 goals vs Arsenal at 6/4 with Betfred.
Raheem Sterling shines
Chelsea went 1-0 down vs Vincent Kompany’s side after just 15 minutes at Turf Moor before an own goal 42 minutes in put the away side back on level terms.
The second 45 was then dominated by Chelsea with goals from Cole Palmer, Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson.
The man of the match was by far and away Raheem Sterling, who had a hand in all four goals vs Burnley. Sterling’s starring display came just days after the winger was once again left out of the England squad by Gareth Southgate.
Speaking post-match, Mauricio Pochettino sent a message to Sterling on his England exile: “He’s a very mature player with experience.
“He knows he needs to perform to show the manager of the national team that he was wrong with his decision.
“It’s about showing you deserve it and with performances and goals is the only way to show that.”
