Chizzy remains unbeaten after drawing 6-6 with Peter Wright, but that record could go against the regining Premier League Darts champion. Mighty Mike was not at full tilt, but still carded a 95.83 average when beating Robert Thornton 5-7 to stay level with Adrian lewis at the top of the table.

Peter Wright’s draw with Dave Chisnall keeps the newcomer unbeaten after his week 1 victory over Robert Thornton and he will be hoping Phil Taylor is still out of sorts when they go up to the oche. The Power was unable to convert his floor-form onto the stage and was almost whitewashed for a second consecutive week before receovering to lose by a more respectable 7-3 against Adrian Lewis.

Wes Newton beat the odds to lower the colours of Raymond van Barneveld with a 7-5 triumph last week, but this is a big ask. The Jackpot almost whitewashed Simon Whitlock in week 1 and had the best average in week 2 (100.57) when mercilessly dispatching his mentor Phil Taylor to rise to the top of the pile and assert himself as a real contender heading into week 3.
Raymond van Barneveld v Simon Whitlock Live Stream – 22:15
Barney started with such promise in week 1 and will have been annoyed with his throwing against Wes Newton with a below 90 average. The Wizard of Oz improved from week 1, but met an unstoppable Flying Scotsman in week 2 and this looks like a tough match to call to bring the curtain down an a cracking night of darts at the Odyssey Arena.
