Premier League Star Admits Interest In Liverpool Switch

Would he be a good signing, Reds fans?

Stoke City playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri has refused to rule out a move to Liverpool this summer, following the Potters’ relegation to the Championship.

The Reds have been linked with a move for the Switzerland international as they look to add cover for Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

Shaqiri has said it is “no secret” that he will leave Stoke this summer, and while he suggested his agent is focusing on his future, he couldn’t hide his admiration for Jürgen Klopp’s men.

“The Anfield stadium is great, definitely,” he said.

“I can’t tell you anything right now, I think my agents take care of my future.

“I’m focusing on the national team right now.”

Liverpool have already made a breakthrough in this summer’s transfer window having signed Fabinho from Monaco, but it appears they may have missed out on a deal for Nabil Fekir from Lyon at the last minute.
