Real Madrid are closing in on the signing of Manchester City youngster Brahim Diaz, with contract talks stalling at the Etihad Stadium.
The Spanish teenage midfielder is extremely high regarded at City, but with his current deal up at the end of the season and first team opportunities at a premium under Pep Guardiola, the situation is looking rather delicate.
Brahim Diaz will leave Manchester City for Real Madrid on a free transfer next summer. The Spanish giants have an agreement in place for the 19 year-old.

Real have been monitoring his situation for some time now, and he showed his quality by bagging a brace in the Carabao Cup win over Fulham earlier this season.
Whether he would get more action at the Santiago Bernabéu is up for debate, but it is tough to see a positive outcome from the Premier League champions’ point of view right now.
There is more positive news surrounding 18-year-old local boy Phil Foden, with the ‘Stockport Iniesta’ all set to sign a new six-year contract with City in the coming days.
