Following yesterday’s announcement that Robbie Williams will rejoin Take That for at least the next year , UK bookmaker William Hill have opened up betting on whether they will achieve a Number 1 hit this year .
The bookmaker has odds of 1/16 that Take That will have a Number 1 hit during 2010 and much more attractive odds of 3/1 that the former boy band will have the 2010 Xmas Number 1 .
William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly commented "Having Robbie back is surely only good news for the band and their fans and the odds definitely suggest that his return will have a positive impact on record sales"
Robbie Williams solo career had been struggling somewhat recently with sales of his last album very disappointing .
It is not clear how long Robbie will stay with the ever popular Take That but William Hill make him 4/7 to still be with the band in a year’s time .
Take That last enjoyed a number one with Greatest Day in 2008 . Could It Be Magic , again ! .
