Scotland face a trip to Sevilla on Thursday evening as they face off with Spain in a Euro 2024 qualifier.
Steve Clarke’s side have had a superb start to their qualifying campaign and currently sit top of Group A with 15 points after winning five from five, scoring 12 and conceding just one.
Despite the unbeaten start, Scotland are still 9/1 with bet365 to beat Spain on Thursday.
Spain injury blows
In a further boost to an unbeaten Scotland team, Spain have been dealt two blows on the injury front this week.
Barcelona midfielder Gavi has picked up an injury while on international duty with Spain. The 19-year-old midfielder sustained the injury during a training session with the Spanish national team along with his teammate Nico Williams. Both players are currently being monitored ahead of facing Scotland.
Whilst Spain look to have lost one of their best midfielders in Gavi, Scotland are expected to once again unleash Scott McTominay this week.
The Manchester United midfielder scored a brace at the weekend to secure a 2-1 win over Brentford, and he is currently the joint-second top goalscorer in Euro 2024 qualifiers with six goals from five games. Back McTominay to score anytime vs Spain at 8/1 with Betfair.
