Scottish Cup Preview: Dundee United v Celtic

Celtic head to Tannadice tonight, aiming to book their spot in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup with one eye still on a domestic treble, having already won the League Cup and sitting top of the Premier League.

Dundee United will provide stiff opposition for Ange Postecoglou’s side – the five points United have taken off Rangers at Tannadice are one of the reasons why Celtic are ahead in the title race.

It’s no shock that Celtic are solid favourites for this one, but once again, there seems to be plenty of betting value away from the win/draw/win markets.

As has become the norm, we’re going to focus on Celtic corners, a market that the bookies seemingly seem to overprice week after week.

Celtic have been relentless for corners this season, and over 8.5 corners for the Hoops tonight is 6/4 at Betfair, and once again, that looks to offer some fantastic value.

James Forrest put in a solid shift against Livingston last weekend and scored a lovely goal – he’s 21/10 with Betfair to score this evening as he get an extended run in the side, and that’s a price I’m happy to get on board with.
