Scottish Premiership Preview: Hibs v Celtic

Celtic travel to the capital on Sunday to take on Hibs, looking to consolidate their position at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.

The Hoops crashed out of the Europa Conference League to Bodo/Glimt on Thursday evening, but Ange Postecoglou’s team selection in Norway suggested that he had an eye on this match with several key players rested.

With the distraction of European football now gone, Celtic can entirely focus on the battle to regain the title from Rangers – a strong performance is expected against a stuttering Hibs side.

Celtic should have the class to edge this one, and they are unbeaten in their last 14 domestic matches – however, they’re prone to conceding on the road, so a Celtic victory coupled with both teams to score looks value at 23/10 with Betfair.

And as usual with Celtic, I’m happy to play on the corners markets – this time on total match corners.

Hibs have won 18 corners in their last three home matches, so that, coupled with Celtic’s seemingly endless thirst for corners, means that over 12.5 corners in the game at 15/8 with Betfair looks a fantastic bet.
