Scottish Premiership Preview: Livingston v Celtic

Celtic to head to the Tony Macaroni Arena this afternoon to take on Livingston in what’s sure to be a tough test of their title aspirations.

Aside from their trips to Ibrox, the Tony Macaroni and its artificial pitch are arguably Celtic’s toughest away matches of the season.

It’s a venue they hate playing at, and they’ve failed to win at Livingston in their last five trips, and that poor record could continue today.

Ange Postecoglou’s side have struggled to break down sides in recent weeks – needing a late winner over Dundee, drawing 0-0 with Hibs and then defeating St Mirren with two second-half goals.

Livingston, meanwhile, head into this match sitting in 5th with just one defeat in their last eight, and they’ve twice held Celtic to a draw this season.

With this in mind, Celtic look incredibly short at 2/5 today, and I’m happy to side with Livingston on the Double Chance market today, which is 41/20 at MansionBet.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a Celtic preview without a play on the corners market – Celtic bagged nine against St Mirren during the week while Livingston are likely to chip in with a few today also – take the 5/4 with Betfair for 11.5 match corners.
