It’s time for the Super Bowl.

No one would have predicted the game would be played between these two teams that the start of the season, but that doesn’t stop the excitement!

We have picked out five selections and put them together in a Bet Builder for the game, which pays out 13/1 with Paddy Power.

  • Rams to win (moneyline)
  • Cooper Kupp anytime TD
  • Cam Akers 80+ rushing yards
  • Bengals less than 10.5 first half points
  • Total points – under 48.5

Rams to Win

The outcome of this game is likely to be decided by the battle between how the Bengals protect Joe Burrow and how the Rams defensive players find a way to hit him. Sacked nine times against the Titans earlier in the playoffs, the support for Burrow is not strong enough.

This is an elite defensive group that the Rams have, they will have seen the tape and be looking to repeat what Tennessee did. Get that right and this could be the reason the Rams win the game, I think they will get it right on the night.

Cooper Kupp Anytime TD

Touchdown leader in the regular season, four TDs from three playoff games, Cooper Kupp is having a standout year. He’s received for over 300 yards in his last two games combined, the man is on first and at some point, Matthew Stafford is going to find an opportunity to throw to him.

Kupp is a big body, the main endzone target, and he is fancied to deliver.

Cam Akers 80+ Rushing Yards

This bet is all about how the game will flow. I expect the Rams to take the lead, and then play a little more conservatively by running the ball more often, which is going to really bring Akers into the game. He is more than capable, and can have a really big day if given the ball a lot, something I think will happen.

Akers to take his chance, and run for 80 yards or more is our next part of the bet builder.

Bengals Less than 10.5 First Half Points

Another bet based on how I see this game unfolding. I think the start will be slow, two franchises with not too much Super Bowl experience and two quarterbacks who are playing in their first ever.

Yes, there will be nerves, time will be needed for players to settle into things. With that in mind, and the fact I think the Rams defence can pounce on Burrow early, we are taking the under on Bengals first half points, going with under 10.5.

Total Points Under 48.5

Rounding the bet off, we are going with under 48.5 points. With a slow start expected, we don’t see the two teams providing enough offence in the second half to build up to this kind of total.

The Rams will hopefully dictate play, take a lot of time on their drives and run the ball a lot, which will help out this and a couple of other pieces to our bet builder on the night.
