The latest on Arsenal trio Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko & Thomas Partey

After crashing out of the FA Cup in the 3rd round vs Liverpool on Sunday, Arsenal’s only remaining shot at silverware this term is the Premier League.

However, the Gunners have won just one of their last six league ties, a run they will be hoping to end on January 20 when they face Crystal Palace. Back Arsenal to beat Palace at 1/3 with bet365.

Arsenal injury latest

Here is the latest Arsenal injury news before their meeting with Crystal Palace.

Gabriel Jesus missed the FA Cup defeat to Liverpool on Sunday with a knee injury. Mikel Arteta is hopeful the problem is not serious, though the club are still waiting to see exactly how severe it is:

“He had some pain in his knee, so we did a scan and it showed something,” Arteta said on Sunday.

“Hopefully it is not something big, it’s the same knee that he had [previously injured] so we cannot take any risks. Hopefully not [a big injury].”

Next up, left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko has been missing since the defeat to Fulham on December 31 with a calf problem.

“He’s progressing well. We have another training session tomorrow,” Arteta said on Zinchenko last week. “We’ll evaluate if he’s available to play and ready to start the game.”

Finally, Thomas Partey has not played for Arsenal since October and the midfielder is still not in full training with the rest of his squad.
