The latest on injured duo Jarrod Bowen & Michail Antonio ahead of Burnley vs West Ham

West Ham return to Premier League action on Saturday with an away trip to Burnley. The Hammers head into the game on the back of picking up their first win in five outings.

However, while West Ham’s current form is nothing to write home about, Burnley’s is shocking. Vincent Kompany’s side sit bottom of the Premier League having lost five in a row. Back West Ham to beat Burnley on Saturday at 19/20 with bet365.

West Ham injury update before Burnley

Ahead of taking on Burnley, West Ham have been dealt two blow to their attack.

Striker Michail Antonio limped off during Jamaica’s 2-1 defeat by Canada in the first leg of their Nations League quarter-final and will play no part in Wednesday’s return fixture, having travelled back to London.

It was initially reported that the forward had suffered a hamstring injury but it is now being reported that the issue is with Antonio’s knee and there are fears he could be set for a spell on the sidelines.

Jarrod Bowen, meanwhile, has also returned to West Ham after a minor knee issue ruled him out of England’s trip to Skopje for their final Euro 2024 qualifier against North Macedonia on Monday.

“We didn’t really have enough time to assess it fully and make an accurate decision, so we felt better to leave him in England,” Gareth Southgate explained on Sunday. “We wouldn’t take a risk.”
