Aston Villa take on Zrinjski Mostar in a Europa Conference League match on Thursday evening at Villa Park.
Villa were dealt a shock 3-2 loss at the hands of Legia Warszawa in their first Group E match but should have no issues bouncing back this week under the guidance of Unai Emery, a man who has won four Europa Leagues and reached five finals in his career.
Aston Villa are steep favourites for their meeting with Zrinjski Mostar and can be added to your bet slip at 1/10 with bet365.
Moussa Diaby injury latest
Aston Villa have a few injury concerns ahead of facing Zrinjski Mostar. Boubacar Kamara and Moussa Diaby picked up injuries during Villa’s 6-1 drubbing of Brighton on Saturday.
Unai Emery was asked after full-time why he took Kamara and Diaby off late on and said: “I think he (Diaby) has some pain, but I don’t think it’s relevant for the next games. Kamara as well, hopefully not important. We think it’s not important but we will check it.”
Whilst it seems like relatively good news for that duo, winger Leon Bailey remains sidelined by a thigh strain and Alex Moreno is not set to return until after the international break. Tyrone Mings and Emi Buendia are also long-term absentees.
With a number of attacking players potentially set to miss out vs Zrinjski Mostar, a start for hat-trick hero Ollie Watkins is expected. Watkins can be backed to score two or more goals vs Zrinjski Mostar at 5/2 with bet365.
