Thierry Henry Names The Most Complete Striker in the Premier League

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry says Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino is the most complete forward in the Premier League after helping the Reds secure Champions League qualification.

Firmino’s teammate Mohamed Salah secured the Golden Boot with 32 goals, breaking the record for the most in 38 games. The pair are now turning their attention to the Champions League final against Real Madrid in Kiev.

But Henry has insisted Firmino deserves credit for his all round play over the past year.

“His movement, his work-rate, the way he makes the two central defenders move to allow Mo Salah to make those runs,” he said speaking to Sky Sports.

“Firmino is the most complete striker in the league.

“I’m not talking about the best finisher or the best work-rate, I’m talking about all round. The most complete in the league.”

Reports suggest Liverpool could have a lot of clubs interested in Firmino in the the summer, especially after he was named in Brazil’s World Cup squad.
