Tottenham face a trip to Luton on October 7 for Saturday’s early Premier League kick-off.
Tottenham head into the game sat 2nd in the Premier League and well aware that a win over the Hatters would see them, temporarily at least, move above Manchester City in the table.
Injury blow
Ahead of taking on Luton, the Lilywhites have been dealt a major blow. Summer signing Manor Solomon will be forced to sit out for at least the next two months after picking up a serious knee injury. The attacker has damaged his medial collateral ligament and is now facing a lengthy spell in the treatment room.
The extent of his injury will likely become clearer in the coming days but Solomon, who has provided two assists in the PL already this term, will be a big miss for Tottenham.
Solomon joins Ivan Perisic, Ryan Sessegnon and Rodrigo Bentancur as long-term absentees for the north Londoners.
On a more positive note, star man Heung-min Son appears to have a clean bill of health ahead of Saturday. The South Korean has six goals in seven this term and can be backed to score anytime vs Luton at 11/10 with bet365.
