Tottenham injury boost

After taking on Manchester United, Spurs will face the Red Devils’ cross-town rivals in an FA Cup 4th-round tie on January 27.

And, according to recent reports, Tottenham winger Manor Solomon is hoping to be back in first-team training early next week and is targeting a return to action in the FA Cup vs Manchester City.

Solomon has been sidelined since the start of October after suffering a meniscus injury to his right knee in training, which required surgery.

Solomon’s return comes at a time when Spurs are lacking key attackers as James Maddison remains sidelined and Heung-min Son is now on international duty with South Korea.

The winger joined Spurs on a free transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer and made six appearances, including three starts, before his injury.
