The England striker has not featured for Liverpool since December and, having struggled a lot from injuries in the last few years, has never really been in favour with Jurgen Klopp.
Some of Europe’s big clubs, like Inter and Sevilla, appeared keen on striking a deal, while Newcastle were in the driving seat earlier in the day. But it was the Baggies who sealed the deal, with Sturridge reportedly claiming family reasons were behind his decision.
After West Brom knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup at Anfield at the weekend, Krychowiak, on loan from PSG, took to social media to aim a jibe at the Merseysiders.
Sturridge will hope to add to his 74 Premier League goals to help Alan Pardew’s men avoid relegation and make the England World Cup squad.
