West Ham return to Premier League action on Saturday with an away trip to Burnley.
The Hammers head into the game on the back of picking up their first win in five outings. However, while West Ham’s current form is nothing to write home about, Burnley’s is shocking.
The Clarets sit bottom of the Premier League having lost five in a row. Back West Ham to beat Burnley on Saturday at 19/20 with bet365.
Jarrod Bowen injury blow
Before going head-to-head with Burnley, West Ham have been handed an injury scare. Gareth Southgate has confirmed Jarrod Bowen has left the England squad and did not travel to North Macedonia after picking up an injury in training:
“Unfortunately, Jarrod picked up an injury”, Southgate confirmed. “I think he felt it a little bit yesterday and then again at the end of training today. So we didn’t really have enough time to assess it fully and make a really accurate decision before the game.
“We felt better to leave him in England so that he can get it properly assessed. I don’t think it’s going to be anything serious, but we just didn’t have enough time, and we wouldn’t take a risk in that player.”
No information has been given on is Bowen will be fit enough to start for the Hammers this coming weekend but as he is their top goalscorer, David Moyes and co. will be hoping Bowen’s issue is nothing serious.
