William Saliba sends Arsenal Champions League message before FC Porto

Arsenal are back in Champions League action on Tuesday evening as they host FC Porto in the second of two last-16 ties.

The Gunners lost 1-0 in the reverse fixture in Portugal, meaning they will need to score at least twice this week to book their spot in the quarter-final. Back Arsenal to beat FC Porto 2-0 at 5/1 with bet365.

Arsenal to win 2-0

William Saliba sends Champions League message

Should Arsenal fail to beat Porto on Tuesday, it will continue a long streak of the north Londoners failing to make it past the last-16 of the competition.

Now though, William Saliba says Arsenal want to prove they belong in the Champions League ahead of their showdown with Porto on Tuesday.

When asked if Mikel Arteta’s side must now show they belong among Europe’s elite, Saliba said: “Yes, of course.

“We have to win on Tuesday and we will give everything, we can’t wait to play on Tuesday. We were focused on the game [with Brentford] and now we prepare for Porto at home and we will be ready.

“I think we were horrible [to play against in] the last seven or eight games and now we have to keep going like this, because it is very tough to beat us at home and we will give everything.”
