But these aren’t just the ten worst players in his squad; various issues this season mean that the former Chelsea and Inter boss is looking to take a stand against some of his expensively assembled squad.
Red Devils fans have been concerned about Paul Pogba’s future amid rumours of a rift with Mourinho, and Ladbrokes have priced the £89million record signing at 13/5 to leave as a result. Unsurprisingly, Real Madrid are said to be monitoring the situation closely.
Another surprising name in line for an exit is David De Gea, at 5/2, though it is harder to believe Mourinho will want to lose the man he called the best goalkeeper in the world earlier this season.
More likely names, such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Matteo Darmian, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Mourinho’s favourite verbal punch-bag Luke Shaw are on the list, which is completed by Daley Blind, Marouane Fellaini and Anthony Martial.
