But these aren’t just the ten worst players in his squad; various issues this season mean that the former Chelsea and Inter boss is looking to take a stand against some of his expensively assembled squad.

Red Devils fans have been concerned about Paul Pogba’s future amid rumours of a rift with Mourinho, and Ladbrokes have priced the £89million record signing at 13/5 to leave as a result. Unsurprisingly, Real Madrid are said to be monitoring the situation closely.

Another surprising name in line for an exit is David De Gea, at 5/2, though it is harder to believe Mourinho will want to lose the man he called the best goalkeeper in the world earlier this season.
