Leeds to beat Southampton
Jesse is on the Marsch (apologies) with Leeds United, racking up back-to-back Premier League wins for the Yorkshire club for only the second time this season.
They’re edging further and further away from the Battle at the Bottom, and come up against a Saints side that have run out of gas in recent weeks.
It’s three losses on the spin for Ralph Hassenhuttl’s men as they float around mid-table without much to inspire them.
Leeds – despite their constant injury troubles – should be able to bag all three points.
Barnsley to beat Reading
There’s a general rule to follow when you’re trying to pick a relegation six-pointer: the house always wins.
Not always, obviously, but we’re fancying the Tykes to edge out the Royals this afternoon, building on their run of three wins and two draws in their last five at home.
Reading ship close to two goals on average every time they travel on the road and have conceded nine in their last three away games.
Luton to beat Millwall
Up to fourth, Luton Town are flying high in the Championship.
They’ve lost just four times at Kenilworth Road this season and are beginning to peak at the perfect moment as they push for promotion.
Millwall don’t travel particularly well despite pushing up to 10th in the league.
