Blackpool to beat Peterborough
Blackpool have struggled recently, but to be fair to them, they have faced some tough games recently, and this game gives them a chance to bounce back. Peterborough have been very poor recently, and are firmly in the relegation battle.
Peterborough won last weekend, but prior to that they went five games without a goal and took just one point from those. We fancy Blackpool to bounce back on Saturday, and condemn Peterborough to another loss.
Huddersfield to beat Bristol City
Huddersfield have slipped away from the playoffs recently, but picked up a solid draw against Coventry last weekend. They weren’t at their best in the game before against Barnsley, but created the best in that game, and deserved at least a point.
Bristol City struggled at the start of the season and since then they have been very inconsistent. They’ve picked up some wins, but continue to struggle to put two good performances together, and when they’ve come up against the better teams, they’ve been found wanting.
We like Huddersfield to pick up a big three away points here.
Blackburn to beat Birmingham
Blackburn are absolutely flying at the moment, they have won their last four games, scored eight and kept a clean sheet in every one of those games. Wins over Bournemouth and Stoke have been a part of that, so they’ve not been taking advantage of teams at the bottom.
Birmingham have won just one of their last five and continue to move closer to the relegation zone. With that in mind, we think Blackburn can continue their excellent run recently and win another game.
