Friday’s NBA Acca Betting Tips:
Heat to beat Magic
Miami are pretty depleted right now with several of their main players out. That hasn’t stopped them from being competitive though and they’ve won three of their last four.
Orlando have a bulk of their players out too, and given they’re on a six-game losing streak, we like the chances of a Heat victory on the road.
Warriors to beat Celtics
It was an historic night at the Garden for Steph Curry as the Warriors guard went top of the list for most three-pointers made in the regular season.
Golden State haven’t been shooting the rock that great lately but there’s reason to believe that now the record hype is gone, they’ll slowly get back to their best. Their defense has remained solid however, and that’ll need to be the case again against a Boston team who will cause them problems with home advantage, but we think the Warriors will edge this.
Bucks to beat Pelicans
The Bucks have really found their rhythm after a slow start that was peppered with injuries. They may be without their main man here in Giannis Antetokounmpo due to COVID protocols, but they coped okay without him when beating the Pacers last game.
Milwaukee should still have the depth to cope against a Pelicans team who probably aren’t as bad as their record suggests, but don’t excel on either end of the floor.
Jazz -3.5 vs Spurs
Utah are offensive dynamite at the minute. In December they’re averaging 124.5 points a game, and the Spurs will probably find them too hot to handle.
The Jazz have won their last eight, and with San Antonio 4-8 on the road, a straightforward home win looks on the cards.
Hornets +3.5 vs Blazers
Charlotte could welcome back LaMelo Ball for this one which would be a plus to their chances, but they haven’t been too bad without him at all recently.
Portland have lost seven straight, which is partly down to a lack of depth/bench scoring. With the Hornets the second best offensively in the league at the moment, they look great value at +3.5 on the spread.
Grizzlies to beat Kings
Memphis have been without Ja Morant for their last ten games, but astonishingly they’ve gone 9-1 in that time.
They have consistent scorers on their team and with the Kings being a bit hit and miss, we like their chances of getting another W here.
