Tuesday’s Acca Betting Tips:
James Wade v Stephen Bunting – Over 4.5 sets
Bunting can’t be written off here after his first-round triumph over Daryl Gurney.
This format suits James Wade down to the ground, but the “Bullet” should push him all the way.
All five sets to be thrown provides the value in a back and forth tie – Bunting to win the 180 race.
Gerwyn Price to beat Mervyn King 3-1
Both players glided through the opening round with 2-0 victories, however, Price’s average was 25 points higher than King’s.
Price looks on-song and should win this in under 4.5 sets as he looks to defend his Grand Prix title.
Dave Chisnall to beat Ross Smith
Ross Smith reached close to his ceiling in dumping out Joe Cullen but “Chizzy” will be a different proposition altogether.
Chisnall can be wasteful on the doubles, but his scoring should see him through.
Smith is capable of racking up a couple of sets but Chisnall should advance.
