Timberwolves +4.5 v Hornets
The Timberwolves have been rolling of late and they’re seeking a sixth straight win in this one against the Hornets.
Minnesota toppled Miami 113-103 in their last game, and at +4.5 on the spread they look good value. We expect the Hornets to keep it tight given how their season has gone so far, but the form the visitors are in is too good to ignore.
Suns to beat Knicks
There’s no stopping the Suns at the moment, their win over Cleveland was their 14th straight victory.
New York have been a tad patchy of late and they’re 5-5 at home. It’s hard to see beyond another Phoenix win given the basketball they’re playing currently, and they’ve been getting significant contributions from several players in their squad – showcasing their depth.
Celtics to beat Spurs
Prior to their defeat against the Nets last game, Boston had won their previous three, and they’re finding their flow a bit.
Jaylen Brown is being eased back into action, and although he’s listed as questionable for this one, the Celtics should have too much for this Spurs team who’ve lost their last six, regardless of whether he plays or not.
Bucks to beat Nuggets
The status of Nikola Jokic makes this one a tad risky, however the Bucks have won their last five, and the Nuggets are on a losing run of the same number – and the reigning MVP played in two of them defeats also.
With Giannis Anteokounmpo coming off the back of a 33-point haul against the Pistons on 70.6% from the field, we think the Greek Freak can lead his team to a road victory here.
Warriors -6.5 v Trail Blazers
The 16-2 Warriors continue to power on and their ‘strength in numbers’ motto was really on show in their win against the 76ers. After being 19 down at one stage, they rallied to turn the game on its head and win by 20, with six of their players scoring double figures.
In 14 of their 16 victories this season so far, Golden State have won by at least seven or more, so backing them at -6.5 on the spread looks a good bet against a Portland side who are severely struggling on the road (1-8).
